springtime blues

Another glorious weekend in the city spent with friends. Tomorrow I'm off to Niagra-on-the-Lake for a wine tasting. I'm so looking forward to the week ahead. My godparents are coming to town just in time for my birthday (which is next Monday) and on Friday I'll be seeing Robyn for the second time this year. This summer is quickly becoming one of the best ever.

rouge

Happy Victoria Day (and happy birthday to my darling mum if you are reading this)! I hope everyone has enjoyed their long weekend, it certainly has been a much needed break. While everyone seems to have gone away to cottages up North, I spent the weekend in the city catching up and going out with my best friends. The weather has been so warm and beautiful, we spent every moment possible out on my favourite patios in Toronto.

printed

Between starting a new internship, Blogger being out of commission and having plans most evenings, it's been difficult to blog as much as I want to. I thought being finished school would make things less busy, but that just isn't the case.
I'm really into mixed prints right now, and it's even better when the pieces are comfortable and easy. I'm obsessed with these paisley pants from Zara. They can be dressed up or down and they feel just like wearing silk pajamas. Wearing Zara top and pants, vintage sunglasses Stella McCartney heels and Clareviver bag. x E

freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose

The weather is finally starting to get warm and I'm finally starting to get used to having free time again. It's been a strange transition since finishing school (forever!), and I've been feeling a little listless, not really knowing what to do with myself. I've found that my greatest delight is finally being able to start reading all the books I've had specific interest in all year, but have had to put off in favor of school required reading. I've just started Anton Gill's biography of Peggy Guggenheim and am looking forward to discovering more about the famed patron of the arts.
